A quart of Velvet Finishes covers roughly 120 square feet of the surface.

The formula for determining your paint quantity needs is simple. Once you know the total square footage of surface space you will be painting, you can determine how much paint is needed using our simple formula.

Step 1: Measure the width of your item in inches and then multiply times the height.

Step 2. Multiply the width and height of all sides to be coated (including the top).

Step 3: Add all of these totals together and divide by 144 to determine the total square feet you will need to cover.
